Welcome to Dunbar Community Centre Renewal !
The DCCA established a Facility Renewal Committee to address numerous deficiencies with the Dunbar Community Centre (DCC) – aging infrastructure (50+ years old), inflexible & inefficient space utilization, seismic inadequacy, safety & security concerns, poor accessibility and inability to service changing community needs into the future.
As the initial phase, the DCCA retained TyPlan Planning and Management (TyPlan) to prepare a Needs Assessment for the DCC. The key findings of the Needs Assessment are contained in the Executive Summary. The complete report will be available at the DCC lobby or online at www.dunbarcentre.ca in the near future.
